Last Friday, it was the second time that we had a match at home and also the second time we fought against Punch DS 11. Unlike the last match where we had a very close game, this time the gap was a bit big. I guess the opponent must have been training very hard targeting us.
During the match, it was nice to notice that our serves were getting more stable, that everyone seems to be confident when serving. It was also obvious that now we realize the importance of blocking and we pay more attention to it. After several tries, we scored few points from nice blocking. Furthermore, more active movements were seen that there were more cases that two people runs at the same time instead of no one going for the ball. As a result, the score we earned each set continuously increased from 9 points in the first set to 18 points in the 4th set, however, it was not enough to win.
Throughout the match, our side of the court was full of cheerful voices coaching, guiding, and cheering. A mixture of calling other’s names, joyful scream, sigh from regretful movements made the game more lively and exciting. We felt that not only the six players in the court was playing but all of us was playing altogether at the same time. Especially, thanks to Sifra who was complimenting players after each point was earned or lost, it would have been possible to follow the game even without watching it.
We already look forward to the training and the next match. Hiep Hoi!
